MEET SALLY WOFFORD
Sally Wofford was born and raised in Berkeley County. She is a proud graduate of Macedonia High School, and then went on to attend the University of South Carolina, where she earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Sally spent nearly two decades at SCE&G before starting her own engineering firm.
Sally's family and community are her top priorities. She and her husband, Lane, raised their two children right here in Berkeley County, all the way through Berkeley County schools. Sally has served on the Berkeley County School Board since 2014 and currently serves as Chair — a trusted leader working to help every student find their path to success.
KEY ISSUES
Parental Partnership
Fiscal Responsibility
Teacher Support
Student Opportunity

THE PLAN
PARENTAL PARTNERSHIP
Parents deserve to know what's happening in their child's school — the budget, the curriculum, all of it. I've made sure of that on the board, and I'll keep it that way.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
With a $486 million budget and a fast-growing county, every dollar counts. I'll keep fighting to spend taxpayer money wisely and put as much as possible straight into the classroom.
TEACHER SUPPORT
Great schools start with great teachers. I've consistently pushed for the pay and resources they deserve.
STUDENT OPPORTUNITY
I'm focused on preparing every student for whatever comes next — college, the workforce, a trade, or the military. I'll keep expanding career and trade partnerships so every student has a real path forward.
